Central Texas AirFest Announces Exciting Lineup for May 16–17

The Central Texas AirFest returns to Temple on May 16–17 with a thrilling lineup of aerial performances and entertainment. Highlights include the All Airborne Battalion's military parachute jumps, Go EZ Aerobatics' high-flying stunts in a 1986 Rutan Long-EZ, and formation aerobatics by the Trojan Phlyers in vintage T-28C aircraft. Friday night’s festivities will also feature a performance by 80s tribute band The Spazmatics, followed by the McLane Intelligent Solutions Drone Show Spectacular. Temple Police K9 Zico Retires After Six Years of Service

The Temple Police Department honored the retirement of K9 Zico, who served loyally for six years alongside his handler, Officer Nash. Since 2019, Zico worked as a dual-purpose K9 specializing in tracking, narcotics detection, and suspect apprehension. Praised for his dedication and impact on public safety, Zico will now enjoy retirement as a family dog with Officer Nash. As reported by KCEN, here!
